ROCKLAND-WESTCHESTER INTERCOLLEGIATE SOCCER OFFICIALS ASSOCIATION

The Rockland Westchester Intercollegiate Soccer Officials Association (RWISOA) is a chapter of the National Intercollegiate Soccer Officials Association (NISOA) serving the Rockland and Westchester areas. RWISOA provides education, training sessions, fitness tests, and more for members. It also offers resources such as rule changes, points of emphasis, and instructional videos to support officials in their roles. Additionally, there are news updates, awards, and a roster of members, fostering a community among college soccer referees in the region.

From NCAA rule changes and video analysis to match management, positioning, and practical advice from MLS & FIFA Referee JC Rivero, the focus was on one thing: becoming better officials for the players, coaches, and the game we serve.

The best officials aren’t made only on match day—they’re built through preparation, study, discussion, and a commitment to continual improvement. Thank you to everyone who showed up ready to learn, contribute, and raise the standard.

A special thank you to Immaculate Conception Church in Mahwah for graciously opening your beautifully renovated event hall to RWISOA. Your hospitality and outstanding facility provided the perfect environment to prepare our officials for the season ahead.

A tremendous turnout yesterday at Iona Prep for our fourth and final fitness test before the college season kicks off.

Thank you to everyone who attended one or more of our fitness test sessions this summer. Your commitment to preparation, professionalism, and excellence is what continues to make RWISOA one of the premier chapters in the country.
